Criminal Minds season 7 continues with episode 11, "True Genius," on January 18, and the BAU could be hunting an infamous serial killer. Are they just dealing with a copycat?
CM season 7 episode 11 "True Genius" official description
Criminal Minds Season 7 Episode 11 : "A series of murders in San Francisco bearing the tell-tale signs of the infamous Zodiac Killer have the BAU wondering if the notorious serial killer has returned. Also, Reid ponders if he should be doing more with his genius abilities."
Criminal Minds Season 7 Episode 11 : Spoilers previously released that Reid wonders if there's more he could be doing with his life with his 30th birthday approaching. It sounds very likely this is that episode. Will Reid figure out something else he could be doing along with catching serial killers by the end of the episode? Could the violent crime seminar he and Prentiss attend, where Patricia Cornwell, a best-selling crime novelist, will be appearing as herself be what leads to Reid getting on this train of thought? Reid has been through a lot over the years working for the BAU, but he has also done quite a lot of good; what else will he think about doing with his genius? He is still young, so there is plenty of time for him to do whatever he wants—and perhaps get some more degrees if he wants—but will he have something in mind for the short-term?
Criminal Minds Season 7 Episode 11 : Meanwhile, the case of the week does sound like one that should be thrilling. If any primetime television crime-solving team could hunt down the Zodiac Killer (or a copycat), this would be it. However, it seems more likely than not that the BAU is hunting a copycat of the Zodiac Killer in this Criminal Minds episode, which is also #149 for the series.
